You Can Really Help Prison Arts Now!

With the devastating impact of the COVID-19 crisis on all of our lives, Community Partners in Action decided to cancel our Celebrate CPA Prison Arts! 2020 fundraiser altogether. We look forward to holding it again in 2021.

Canceling Celebrate! 2020 creates a significant gap in the Prison Arts Program budget we could not have predicted. This life-changing program operates on a very small budget. The cancellation could put its important work in jeopardy.

Help us close the budget gap today with a
special gift to the Prison Arts Program.

Your donation will be matched 2 to 1, up to $25,000, by a new Leadership Challenge Fund established by current and former members of the CPA Board of Directors.

“I’m not the same person I was before the art class…I can tell you how less frustrated I began to feel after I started drawing. Drawing, to me, not only transformed my life but kind of saved it.”

Larry White, Prison Arts Program alumni artist

Time and time again, artists like Larry testify how the program changed their lives when they were incarcerated. Without full funding, the Prison Arts Program will have to reduce its work within the prisons and our communities–-both remotely now and on-site once the quarantine is fully lifted.

We know firsthand how the pandemic is creating pressing and emergency priorities. Help us ensure that the Prison Arts Program will be there to help when people turn to the Arts for healing.

Please make your special Prison Arts gift today.
