On September 13, Community Partners in Action hosted its first annual cornhole championship at our Manchester Alternative in the Community Program, gathering over 70 employees for an afternoon of team bonding, laughter, and a touch of friendly competition! Our event brought together staff from across the organization to enjoy ice cream, games, and a few well-earned hours of connection outside of work.
The highlight of the day was our inaugural cornhole championship, where teams showed off their skills and cheered each other on with great enthusiasm. It was a fantastic way to build connections among our staff in a relaxed, supportive environment, reinforcing our commitment to fostering a collaborative and engaging workplace culture. Congratulations to the winning team of Deb Rogala and Giovanni Gagliardi!
In addition to the games, we held a vote with three choices for the name of our 2024 annual report. After thoughtful input from our team, we’re thrilled to announce the winning title: Empowering Lives and Communities Since 1875. This name not only celebrates our deep-rooted history but also reflects our ongoing dedication to creating positive change in the communities we serve. Look for the release of this year’s annual report at our Annual Meeting on December 4 at the Pond House Café at Elizabeth Park.
