Join CPA at the 2026 Eversource Hartford Marathon on October 10!
Whether you choose to volunteer (see volunteer opportunities below), participate in the Marathon, Half Marathon, Team 26.2 Relay, or Charity 5K, every mile helps support* CPA’s mission of creating second chances across Connecticut.
*IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT FUNDRAISING & SUPPORTING CPA
Before registering, please note:
🔵Participants commit to raising a minimum of $250 for CPA.
🔵Each participant receives a personal fundraising page.
🔵All funds raised go directly to support CPA’s mission and programs.
🔵The fundraising deadline is October 31, 2026.
🔵Participants who do not meet the $250 fundraising minimum by October 31, 2026, may be responsible for the remaining balance, which may be charged to the credit card used during registration.
🔵Relay Teams: The team captain creates one fundraising page that all relay members share. The $250 minimum applies to the captain’s fundraising page.
Volunteer Opportunities
You also have the opportunity to represent Team CPA as volunteer, support thousands of runners, and help create an unforgettable race-day experience, all while giving back to the community!
We’re looking for 20 amazing volunteers to help make race day a success! Register early, we need:
10 volunteers registered by Monday, August 24
All 20 volunteers registered by Friday, September 25
Choose the role that’s right for you:
🔵West Hartford Course Monitors (12 volunteers)
Shift time: 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Help direct runners and cheer them on at locations throughout West Hartford.
🔵 Kids Race (6 volunteers)
Shift time: 7:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Encourage young runners, hand out medals and snacks, and help create a fun race experience.
🔵 Baggage Check (2 volunteers)
Shift time: 5:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Assist with collecting, organizing, and returning runners’ bags before and after the race.
How to register for your volunteer shift with CPA:
- Create an account (or log in if you already have one).
- From your Dashboard, select Events.
- Choose the appropriate event:

- Kids Race or Baggage Check: Eversource Hartford Marathon: Bushnell Park Activities

- Complete and submit the HMF Waiver.
- Select Apply to Shifts and choose your volunteer assignment:

- West Hartford: Course Monitors (7:00 AM – 9:30 AM)
- Kids Race (7:30 AM – 10:30 AM)
- Baggage Check (1st Shift) (5:30 AM – 9:30 AM)

- Click Apply to Selected Shifts to complete your registration.
