Meet our New HR Director

Mary Beth Peacock, MLS, SHRM-CP, joined CPA in November as Director of Human Resources, with more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit healthcare and public-sector settings.

She previously served as Director of Human Resources for Cheshire Public Schools and as Chief Human Resources Officer for BHcare. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Post University and a Master of Legal Studies from Northeastern University. She is a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Professional and recently served as Director of Emerging Professionals for the Connecticut SHRM State Council.

Mary Beth is known for a disciplined yet flexible approach to problem solving. She focuses on building fair workplace systems, strengthening compliance practices, and developing compensation structures that support both employees and organizational health.

As CPA builds toward 2030, investments in internal systems are critical. Mary Beth’s leadership will help ensure that our staff are supported, and our infrastructure remains strong.

Outside of work, Mary Beth enjoys hiking, knitting, and reading historical fiction when she’s not spending time with family and friends.
